The inclusion team provide support and guidance to both students and parents. We aim to help with any behavioural issues or academic concerns.
Within the inclusion department we believe that every child matters which leads to excellent pastoral care at The King's School. The inclusion team deal with a range of issues effectively and also rewards positive behaviour and progress. We also liaise with teachers and outside agencies to ensure that every pupil has a good educational experience and reaches their full potential at The King's.
All students are divided between the four Chapters (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). Chapter Points are available for any number of activities in school.
There is a dedicated progress team: Mr Wilson, Mr Toach, Mrs Hinchcliffe.
If you have any safeguarding concerns, in the first instance, please contact Miss Milne - email@example.com - in order to report this, or call the main school office and Miss Milne will call you back as soon as is practically possible.
The inclusion team work closely with the Local Support Team in Kidsgrove and Newcastle, the Localities team in Stoke, Dove bereavement services (also available for students who have
experienced significant loss), Base 58, School Health services, Eduation Welfare, the NSPCC, the Youth Offending Team and many other agencies besides.
