Thinking about secondary education?
We are delighted that you are considering The King's for your child. We are the school of choice in Kidsgrove, a view reinforced recently by two-teams of inspectors (Ofsted and SIAMS) that have judged our school to be GOOD. We are proud to offer among the newest secondary school facilities in Staffordshire, to have some of the best GCSE results in the district and to work with supportive parents and excellent students on a day-to-day basis. We have a dedicated board of governors, and the school's philosophy is set out here - please take a look.
Now we invite you to take a look at our prospectus.
We know how important it is that you make the right decision about your childʼs secondary education. At The Kingʼs, our core values reflect the fact that every child is important and that every child is valued.
The Kingʼs represents a fabulous opportunity as a Church of England secondary school which welcomes all faiths and cultures. The Christian ethos permeates across all of our work and we celebrate unity in diversity – diversity of those of Christian faith, those of other faith and those of no faith. Our students work together in a school which strives for excellence in all areas. Our students flourish together and develop respect and understanding for each other so that they are prepared for their adult lives in modern Britain.
All visitors to the school comment on the warmth of welcome and the calm, harmonious atmosphere around the school and the focussed attitude of our students. We know the importance of academic rigour and of academic success, teamed with personal development.
Our students' progress is at the heart of everything that we do. We seek to nurture every child's particular talents - to identify their strengths and to encourage them to persevere in areas of difficulty. We know that no two children are the same.
Here are just a few more things that you might like to consider:
