Academic Progress Unit

The Academic Progress Unit provides support and guidance to both students and parents.  We aim to help with any behavioural issues or academic concerns.

Within the Academic Progress Unit we believe that every child matters which leads to excellent pastoral care at The King's School. The APU deals with a range of issues effectively and also rewards positive behaviour and progress. We also liaise with teachers and outside agencies to ensure that every pupil has a good educational experience and reaches their full potential at The King's.

All students are divided between the four Chapters (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John).  Chapter Points are available for any number of activities in school.

There is a dedicated progress team: Mr Wilson, Mr Toach, Mrs Hinchcliffe.
